The Publishing Department has played an important role in the origin, establishment, expansion and development of the Seventh-day Adventist Church around the world. The goal of the department of publishing is to produce and distribute Adventist literature in all languages, covering all aspects of life, with a variety of subjects on physical, mental and spiritual health, family education and any other topic of moral and spiritual value. The Department also provides jobs to thousands of members of the Seventh Day Adventist Church and to many students of schools, academies and universities who are able to get financial means to pay for their tuition, expand the Adventist message, and experience a fulfilling social and spiritual life.

ADVENTIST EDUCATION

The mission of the Department of Education at the Texas Conference of Seventh-day Adventists is “Building Kid Communities for Eternity”. The Education Department is responsible for the supervision, coordination, promotion, and K-10 accreditation evaluations of the schools within the Conference, including 19-K-8 Schools, 5-K-10 junior academies, 3-K-12 schools, and 1-day academy. We employ 175 teachers and serve approximately 2,500 students each year. The Office of Education personnel engages in the development and implementation of curriculum resources. We sponsor and staff three major ministries each year; 9th and 10th Grade Bible Camp, 7th and 8th Grade Music Festival, and Outdoor School for 5th and 6th Grade students.

EVANGELISM

The mission of evangelism is to go make disciples, baptize them, and teach them all that Jesus commanded. Jesus invited everyone to share the good news with others in preparation for His soon return. In Texas, we work hard to fulfill this commission. The Texas Conference provides extensive financial support and training for local churches. We want to inspire and equip our members in this regard.

Blood Samples
#ExperienceTheJoyOfGiving Blood Drive

We have experienced the joy of receiving the blood of Christ.  If we are able to do so let us share our blood to save the lives of others.  ATTENTION Health Ministries, Adventurer, Pathfinder, and Master Guide leaders.  We are giving away one free patch to the first 1000 blood donors who complete the challenge.
